Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday advised all women in India not to wait too long to become mothers as it leads to complications in the future. Paaq Bandhu is an art and dialogue based peace organisation that brings Paigaam-E-Cinema Film Festival 2023. A festival to celebrate dialogue and shared culture between India and Pakistan. The Delhi High Court has observed that denying a woman the right to medical termination of pregnancy in sexual assault cases and imposing the responsibility of motherhood on her, would amount to “denying her the human right to live with dignity” as she has a right in relation to her body including the right to say “yes or no” to being a mother. “Lost rights are never regained by appeals to the conscience of the usurpers, Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud announced that the eSCR (Electronic Supreme Court Reports) will now be providing Supreme Court judgments in various regional languages of India. The said feature will be launched on the occasion of Republic Day. The CM said the apex court’s decision only “vindicated” the state government’s decision to conduct the caste survey, which is underway.
